Farewell to Chair Jim Wallace

At our recent AGM we said a fond farewell to our Chair of 7 years, Jim Wallace.

Jim has guided MySight York through some major changes, including new Chief Executives, a full rebrand and the move to new premises. He leaves the charity in a strong position which reflects his own values – caring, resilient and with the needs of visually impaired people at the heart of everything we do. He has also been a great personal support to the staff, not least because of his apparently endless supply of morale-boosting cakes. We wish him very well for the future.

Jim is succeeded as Chair by our current Vice Chair, Martin Fawcett.
