Age UK York has teamed up with York Leisure Centre to offer a weekly activity session specifically for older residents (60+).

Participants can meet with others to play badminton, table tennis, pickleball, or attend a basic circuits or aqua class. You get to choose what you take part in and no experience is needed – come along to try something new. Free tea and coffee is available and York Leisure Centre has a café if you work up an appetite.

Sessions run each Tuesday between 11am and 1.30pm. Pre-booking is required via the Better UK app (book Activity – Adult Group Sessions).

Sessions are £5.50 per participant – free to members of the York Leisure Centre.

Sessions take place at York Leisure Centre, Kathryn Avenue, Monks Cross, York, YO32 9AF.

Age UK York can provide transport (at cost and subject to  a minimum level of demand). If you need transport to get to this activity, please call First Call on 01904 634061 or email firstcall@ageukyork.org.uk.
