Premises Update – MySight York Relocation

Posted: Monday 9 December 2024 | Louise Calpin

We are excitedly nearing the completion of our move to a new central location within the city walls. While we finalise the new premises, there are just a few legalities left to complete.

Our doors will be opening in early 2025 and we can’t wait to welcome you to our new home! Once settled, we’re planning to host several opening events to celebrate this exciting new chapter for us. We’ll share more information about this soon.

During this transition, we want to emphasise that we are still here for you. Our team remains fully available and is committed to finding flexible and innovative ways to provide support… whether remotely via phone on 01904 636269, at temporary venues, or through other arrangements that suit your needs.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we prepare for this exciting new beginning.

In other exciting news, Karen Dransfield is the new Sight Support Advisor at MySight York and she is based at York Community Stadium, within the Eye Clinic. Karen said, “I am really excited to be involved in developing the new Sight Support Advice Service at the Stadium and to be supporting patients that attend their eye clinic appointments. The new service is now up and running, it will be really important for me to gain feedback from people that attend the stadium about what would be helpful in the new service, so please come and introduce yourselves if you have an appointment at the stadium – I would love to meet you.”

The Sight Support Advice Service in the Eye Clinic at York Community Stadium, is based opposite the Injection rooms. At present this service can be accessed on a drop-in basis or by appointment and is available Tuesday to Friday 9am-4pm. Or if you would like to contact Karen directly, please call 01904 724116.
