A great group for anyone who has given up knitting because of failing eyesight. This group is fully supported by volunteers and we are currently producing cushions, hats, scarves, blankets and crochet handbags for our hospital stall. 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month 10:30 – 12:00
Fancy trying your hand at creative writing? MySight York member Anna Baldwin has organised a workshop with guest writer Alan Gillott. Come and create your own short story on Friday October 11th, 10.30-12.30. The cost is £3.50. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place.
Boccia is a fun and exciting precision ball sport, similar to bowls or petanque. The aim of the game is to throw leather balls – coloured red & blue – as close as possible to the white target ball (jack). Followed by an opportunity for a cup of coffee and a catch up.
