York Dragon Boat Race is an iconic part of York’s cultural heritage, and for MySight York it’s more than just a great day out. It’s one of our best opportunities to connect with the local community and share the impact of our work, with every pound raised going directly towards helping people in York live well with vision impairment.

Fancy a flutter? Our Sensory Tombola will be packed with prizes chosen to be tasted, sipped, and savoured by scent. Prefer something more indulgent? We’re also raffling a Chocolate Afternoon Tea for two, generously donated by The Milner. It’s the perfect treat for a summer’s day out.

We’re still on the hunt for a few more tombola prizes and gift bags to house them, so if you have any goodies (food, drink, candles and cosmetics) to contribute then please drop them off at MySight York by Wednesday, 8th July. All contributions are gratefully received and will help make this year’s event the best yet.
