Staff Vacancies

Sight Support Advisor

Salary:            £27,694 FTE
Hours:             28 hours over 4/5 days (between core working hours 9.30-3pm Mon – Fri)
Location:        York
Reporting to:  Senior Sight Support Advisor

Looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference?

We are looking for a Sight Support Advisor to join our friendly team and help provide information, guidance, equipment support and a warm welcome to people accessing our services.

The most important qualification? A willingness to learn.

Great communication skills
Good basic IT and technology skills
An organised and proactive approach
A genuine desire to learn and help others

Hours:             16-20 hours per week to be agreed over core working hours 9.30-3pm Mon – Fri

Reporting to:  Sight Support Advisor

Looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference?

At MySight York, we’re passionate about helping people live well with sight loss. We’re looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Team Administrator to support our services and help ensure every client and visitor receives a warm welcome. Above all you will need great people skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

 

What we’re looking for:

A warm, friendly and approachable personality
Great communication skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Organised and pays attention to detail
A genuine desire to learn new skills and undertake training
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
